Qu'est-ce que vous pensez? Non, je
n'ai pas encore ma carte de l'âge d'or. C'est vraiment le 3e printemps que j'ai
la chance de voir cette année. Le premier à Cornwall en Ontario, ensuite dans la
vallée de Matapédia et pour finir (enfin j'espère quand même que ce soit le
dernier pour cette année) St-John's à Terre-Neuve.
D'autant plus que
j'ai été accueillie par quelques flocons, effectivement de neige, à mon arrivée.
Nous sommes quand même à la fin mai et cette ville à toute la misère du monde à
monter son thermostat au dessus de 5C!!
Mais je dois quand
même avouer que c'est toujours agréable de s'offrir une petite visite dans cet
endroit magnifique. Le charme de St-John's est exceptionnel et une fois la
brume dissipée, la lumière fait ressortir toute les couleurs si caractéristiques
à cette ville. Il ne faut pas manquer une visite sur la côte pour voir ce
nombre exceptionnel d'icebergs, qui attire aussi beaucoup de touristes.
Les voitures ici
sont de plus en plus luxueuses et les maisons de plus en plus grosses. C'est un
changement notable durant la dernière décennie et heureusement, beaucoup
semblent profiter de cette manne.

No, my 3rd spring doesn't mean I get my Senior citizen member card! I've really been put 3 times in the spring season. The first one was in Cornwall in Ontario, which happen in April, then the Matapedia valley and finally (I hope I'm not wrong there) St-John's Newfoundland.
It's like starting all over again, specially when you get those snowflakes on your head at the end of May. St-John's could be really nice but it's now fighting to get a 5C and can hardly get it!
A visit in this town is always appreciated. When the fog dissipate, you can appreciate the special charm St.Johns. Get the sun shining on the colored houses and neat buildings of the city and you will be delighted. You can also appreciate the numerous icebergs present this year which also attract a lot of tourist.
Walking around the crooked road and cul-de-sac, you will notice that the houses are becoming bigger and bigger and the fancy cars now go unnoticed. I just hope everybody can get his share.
